So after my last post, my friend came back to me and said, “Great, you got my Netflix data! I don’t suppose you could do Hulu too, could you?”.
As a matter of fact, yes. Yes I can.
So, based off of the original Netflix script, here’s a userscript to do the same thing, but for Hulu. It was thrown together quickly and doesn’t do ratings data right now (she didn’t have any ratings), but it will give you title, subtitle, and fuzzy watch dates for your entire history, in a nice blob of JSON. Took a little bit to get the jQuery selectors correct during the recursion, but it works quite well now.
It’s a very cool feeling when you sit there with Firebug open watching this thing recursively travel through dozens of pages!
